Darüber hinaus finden Sie auf unserem Blog http://gruenerrassismus.blogspot.com/ more background information.
The following is an incident between a student from Mannheim and Mr. Hornung, Press Officer describes the Green Party in Mannheim, which should concern us all. Some may have already learned of the events, for all others and especially for the Green Party MPs, who sought either did not bother to read our emails or have failed in the hectic election to deal with our criticism, we recapitulate the following facts again:
on 16/09/2009 said Aisha C. Mr. Hornung at a campaign rally on the racist and sexist posters of the Greens in Kaarst. He said, rightly, that he "personally" had nothing to do with the poster. She told him that this would be for Black people to Kaarst and they thus questioned the eligibility of the countryside. This conclusion that Mrs C and her mother shared equally, Mr. Hornung was covered and explained to casual way that she (and her mother) as an alternative choice might also like to stay away, with er offensichtlich auf mangelnde Wahloptionen anzuspielen versuchte.
Appalled by the lack seriousness of their cause was taken up with the Greens and who affected by the reckless and racist word choice Mr. Mrs. C. Hornung decided to this conflict to the public and summarized their experiences together in writing to then to various forward platforms and networks.
She thought that the conversation with Mr. Horn would confirm rather that this is not the kind of green and then we assumed that the obvious mistakes of the party members Hornung of the Green Party are clearly recognized would.
However, we have a lesson to be taught.
The aim of this action, it is people like to put Thomas Hornung, clear boundaries. It can not be tolerated in our society that it always comes back to racist remarks and actions, nor that they are concealed and denied.
The tactics of the Green Party was and is to deny the problem, making it a private matter for Mrs. C., or to doubt the veracity of their statements. Furthermore, criminal charges were against known / unknown threatened ..
On repeated requests, we received no or very unsatisfactory answers.
The Greens to act not only as individuals but hold political office and who have therefore a particularly high level of responsibility as representatives of civil society. A Greens MP who has said a spokeswoman for the Greens because of this incident and the corresponding e-mails, Lazar woman from Berlin, a spokeswoman for strategies against right. The bashing and the irreverent nature of Mr. Hornung but were not recognized her too. Nevertheless, it offered to the matter again to pursue more accurate because they initially also claimed that there were no witnesses to the incident. This is not true, as Damian Wiench, Greens Member of Mannheim witness was the insult and in a telephone call which distanced. Here Monika Lazar's last email from 09/25/2009:
"[...] I promise, to do so after the election. Gerhard Schick also has assured that the problem for him is off the table and he definitely wants a clarification . "(Lazar 25.09.2009)
Unfortunately, we have seen very little of it so far! On the contrary, racism is denied and a critical examination of their own actions can not be seen.
Neither Thomas nor Mr. Hornung Schick or his colleagues have taken responsibility for the mindless action Thomas Hornung. An apology is the least, but no trace of it.
The appendix is a statement of support for printing.
